Hello my Julia. I wish you were here on a walking holiday with me in the Mendips.(Somerset)This would have been right up your street a few years ago and that you did not have that horrible illness. The hotel is very good with a modern gym,swim pool,sauna and steam room. The people on the walk number 9 persons,all different but very pleasant. The walks themselves are about 9 miles every day,so far they have been very good around Cheddar and Wells.Today is the first of the rain and it does not get any better for the rest of the week. You would have enjoyed this so much I know but this was not to be. Other people are in a similar situation as me which is often talked about.
