We first met in 1975 in hospital when we both had new baby boys.
To me as a new naive mum, Julia was a rock. I could rely on her to give me advice. She was wonderfully calm and wise about the mystery of motherhood. I respected her so much and would ring her up because I knew that Julia would give me the reassurance I needed in her own special way. I can\\'t believe she won\\'t be there any more...a gentle, funny, kind and wonderful mother and wife. A great friend. God bless love Angela,Rob & Simon
